The Planning Department is responsible for administrative and technical assistance to the Planning and Zoning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency and Housing Partnership Committee. The department also provides staff support to a variety of other Town boards, commissions, and committees, and performs the enforcement and interpretation of regulations and ordinances. In addition, the department is responsible for filing and recording all applications, and reporting to local, regional, state and federal offices.
