Agriculture Commission
The Agriculture Commission is charged with undertaking efforts and providing advice that will help preserve and sustain the agriculture industry in North Branford and its lands; encourage pursuit of agriculture; and protect farmland through education, communication, conflict resolution, regulatory advice and promoting the economic viability of farming.
The Agriculture Commission consists of five members (one member from the Town Council and four electors of which three shall be active or have an interest in farming or agriculture in North Branford) and two alternate members (electors) all appointed by the Town Council for initial terms of varying years with all reappointments being 3 year terms.
