Town Plan of Conservation & Development

Per State Statutes, each municipality must update, every 10 years, a comprehensive plan of Conservation & Development.  The documents below are the draft for the beginning of this process to adopt a final Plan of Conservation & Development for the Town of North Branford.

The schedule is as follows:
Proposed hearing July 24, 2008 at 7 p.m. has been changed to the North Branford Auditorium (instead of Totoket Valley Elementary School Cafeteria as originally reported).  The Auditorium is located between the North Branford High School and North Branford Intermediate School.

At this meeting, comments will be received from the public.  These comments will be considered as possible changes in the resulting future draft.  Additional hearings may be held or the Planning & Zoning Commission may adopt the draft plan "as submitted".   We have put the information here on our website for you to review and to offer comments in this very important process.

This overall process will result in the development of priorities relating to future development of the Town, a vision for the future and a series of major strategies and recommendations to achieve that vision over the next ten years.
