Since 2003-04, the Town has been providing professional counseling services encompassing initial assessment, treatment planning, intervention and follow-up.  Referrals for other services are made when necessary.  Town operation of this service - instead of a private contractor model that was previously used - provides an opportunity to improve service, lower costs and develop a revenue stream to help fund the program.
